Dear Friend
Cher Ami, a homing pigeon known for her military duties during World War I, was responsible for delivering a message alerting American forces to the location of the Lost Battalion. Despite being shot, losing one of her legs and being blinded in her left eye, she managed to deliver the message, saving the soldiers in need. A tribute to Cher Ami, Dear Friend is a collection of texts exploring the actions and social patterns of pigeons.
