Editorial design is our tool as designers to bring words and images to life — crafting narratives, connecting seemingly unrelated ideas, and exploring concepts in depth through printed pages and digital screens. This year, 29 of us from around the world embraced the challenge of completing the Master’s in Editorial Design, each of us driven to create editorial projects that are bold, thoughtful, and boundary-pushing.
With diverse life experiences, professional and educational backgrounds, we embarked on a journey of growth, learning, and creative challenges. Through a book, a series of magazine issues, and a digital platform, we’ve developed ambitious collaborative projects that reflect our broad range of skills and interests.
What began as a seed of an idea in the autumn of last year has grown—through concept development, content curation, art direction, typesetting, and production—into work we’re proud to present now. These outcomes explore topics such as fashion, music, social justice, philosophy, and many more.
Inspired by Imagine Peace by Yoko Ono, The Elements of Style by E.B. White and William Strunk Jr., and the powerful dichotomy of Love and Hate, we’ve created a series of innovative editorial projects with the guidance and support of our lecturers and workshop leaders.
We hope you’ll enjoy this glimpse into our work. If anything sparks your interest, we’d love to hear from you!
