Red Light Green Light Go: The Garage Issue
It’s the first issue of -ISH, our magazine and our tribute to maximalist approaches in our chaotic world. A collection of wholesome, messy, weird and hilarious stories about a specific topic that changes in each issue. We also decided that instead of having the topic being explicit we would take the “-ish” way using a place to describe it. For this one we’re opening our garage, sharing with you funny things regarding hobbies and sports.
FRESH OUT OF THE OVEN: THE KITCHEN ISSUE
If your fridge door is the most maximalist and colorful place in the house, then get comfortable (or get cooking), because you’re in the right place. Let’s get real, food isn’t about picture-perfect dishes we see on Instagram. And who says food is just for eating? Not us, and definitely not Svava Tergesen, the photographer who lets her maximalist side shine by creating insane compositions made of food scraps and fish scales. Well, this is just a taste of what you’ll find in this issue. Take a seat at the table and let’s get started!
STRAIGHT FROM YOUR COUCH: THE LIVING ROOM ISSUE
Welcome to our Living Room! This is where we lounge with a book, blast our favorite records, or binge-watch those “guilty pleasures” we’re too embarrassed to admit we love. Call it entertainment, call it art—if it keeps you glued to the couch, it’s fair game for this issue of our magazine This time, we’re off to the island to revel in the cult classic “Takeshi’s Castle” and its delightfully dangerous challenges Need some background music? How about an underwater orchestra or one that plays with vegetable instruments and then cooks up any leftovers? Feeling inspired yet? Well, hop on the couch and let’s dive in!
