Why It Matters
Hearing loss affects 15% of the global population, yet only 3 in 10 people who need hearing aids actually wear them.
Among users, stigma, shame, and insecurity remain deeply rooted — hearing aids are still associated with weakness or disability rather than seen as part of everyday life.
But if glasses are now a fashion statement, why aren’t hearing aids?
Noize offers a modular system of customizable accessories that reframe hearing aids as expressive, stylish elements rather than medical devices to be hidden. Our product lines are designed to adapt to different user preferences, lifestyles, and levels of customization:
A base casing that fits over existing hearing aids. It adapts to the shape and model of each device and serves as the main surface for personalization. Users can choose from different colors, textures, patterns, or even engrave names or symbols — turning each piece into something unique and meaningful.
A sculptural ear piece that extends from the hearing aid and wraps gently over the outer ear. Inspired by contemporary jewelry, it provides a bold and visual statement. This piece enhances the aesthetic appeal while still being lightweight and ergonomic.
Small decorative add-ons that can be attached to the Shell. They allow users to further express their personality and change styles according to their mood, outfit, or occasion — from playful to elegant.
Our focus is on five key values: style, acceptance, identity, confidence, and well-being. We design devices that users are proud to wear, breaking social stigma and making hearing aids a natural part of their lives.
