Sweat Matters

Sweat used to make me hide. Now, I let it speak. This project turns sweat from shame into empowerment through reactive textiles and material experimentation. Using pH-sensitive dyes, it explores sweat as data, design, and self-expression. Sweat Matters is a therapeutic design journey, inviting us to embrace what we leak, feel, and are, and to ask: what is your body trying to say?

The outcome is not just an experiment, but a wearable system. A T-shirt that maps your body through sweat-generated patterns. Each shirt becomes a personal data artifact, colors evolve with time, heat, and emotion.

Some stains appear from stress in public. Others from intense training. Where once sweat marked lack of control, now it marks connection with self, body, and space. From halos to dots, fading to contrast, this maps reveal how, where, and when I sweat.

What once I tried to hide,  now becomes hyper-visible, poetic, and uniquely mine.
