Latent Grounds
Forgotten and marginalized areas are not static, they carry histories, host new forms of life, and challenge the way we perceive the city. In Latent Grounds, we explored and intertwined the multiple narratives of Can Tunis, honoring their diversity and uncovering their layers as a place of displaced memories.
Through four acts, we crossed this area to reach the Municipal Material Storage, an old quarry in Morrot where the City Council salvages stone from demolition sites. During this journey, a speculative exploration unfolds through the memory and materiality of Can Tunis, transforming its spaces into sites of experimentation and storytelling. This project is part of the WCA26 proposal.
