Monique Lemos is the founder and CEO of @topofutures, a plural futures lab & consultancy dedicated to research, strategy, and new narratives for multiple creative media — she is a Brazilian Anthropologist, Cultural Strategist, Tech and Creative Researcher, and Responsible AI Strategist embracing the digital nomad lifestyle to continually expand her cultural repertoire and stay attuned to global impacts, trends, and insights. With experience in Production and Cultural Strategy, she holds degrees in Cinema, Sociology and Politics, Digital Anthropology, and a Master's in Design for Responsible AI at Elisava. Her research interests include the human-machine relationship, AI and social impacts, Black imaginaries, necropolitics, and decolonialities, and democratizing data literacy.
