The life of men ended up representing the life of human being in general. This has created a gender data gap.
When men are the default, women become the exception,
the weather we don’t report on.
This disparity is especially dangerous in medicine.
Medications are often dosed without accounting for biological differences and clinical trials frequently ignore female hormone cycles.
But life doesn’t work in a lab, it runs in cycles.
Ignoring hormonal rhythms means failing to fully understand human health.
So what if we stopped filtering out complexity and started listening to the body’s natural rhythms?
This project is more than just a cycle-tracker.
It’s a human-centred tool that empowers people who menstruate to understand themselves, connect with others, and contribute to a smarter, more inclusive healthcare future.
The four pillars of the project
DATA
Data collected from the user will help creating a rich, real-world dataset focused on women’s health.
CONTENT
AI act as a personal meteorologist, transforming raw data into emotionally intelligent insights.
COMMUNITY
Through anonymous contributions, the app creates a powerful community.
PRIVACY
User is always in control. Data use is always clear, human, and optional. All shared data is anonymous and aggregated.
The fist prototype was build using Python, Flask API, OpenAI API and OpenAI model for the backend, and Astro framework (HTML, CSS, Javascript) for the frontend.
