Syn_Alquimia
Syn is a physical interface made to connect with other
species than human through the use of technology. Syn
seeks to positively impact organisms and human, hoping to shape conversations about alternative systems for
restoring our connection with nature and understanding it better.
Syn explores the capability of non-human intelligence through the study of bacteria that can produce electricity. In soil batteries, metal rods are placed in the soil, where certain bacteria interact with organic matter and the metal. These bacteria metabolise the organic compounds in the soil and, during this process, transfer electrons to the metal rods.
