Working through material science and experimental processes, I engage with methods that range from developing manufacturing techniques for lava, to shaping metals with explosives, and building machines that reconstruct or erode sedimentary rock. These gestures aim to surface the latent narratives and metaphors embedded in materials, and to question how we interact with them and how they, in turn, shape us.
