COPANA
This knitted installation is an ode to my city, Beirut, Lebanon. It was created using a Kniterate machine and inspired by imaginations from MidJourney. The process was highly experimental, offering an intriguing way to blend the old and the new.
Creating a sheer fabric helped me showcase the delicate yet resilient nature of both the material and the city it represents. The journey of combining technology and creativity was highly experimental. It pushed the boundaries of conventional knitting, exploring new textures and forms. This project stands as a testament to innovation and artistic exploration, bridging the past with the future in a meaningful way.
