Rhythm Over Algorithm
Rhythm Over Algorithm questions the invisible grip of recommendation engines on how we discover and engage with music. It proposes new ways of listening that prioritize user agency, cultural depth, and playful exploration over algorithmic prediction.
Features like Passport (geo-based discovery), Iceberg (genre deep-dives), and Headroom (social listening rooms) invite listeners to explore on their own terms. Grounded in research and speculative design, the project speaks to a generation seeking more meaning and transparency in digital spaces—offering tools that make music feel less like a feed and more like a journey you choose to take.
